Abstract

La modernisation du contrôle fiscal en France après la Seconde guerre mondiale est étroitement liée à celle de l’administration fiscale dans son ensemble. Œuvre du tandem Paul Delouvrier – Maurice Lauré, elle ne se résume pas à une rationalisation de l’administration pour l’adapter aux nouveaux impôts du XXe siècle. Elle a survécu politiquement au célèbre mouvement de révolte dit « Poujade ».

The modernization of tax control in France after the Second World War is closely linked to that of tax administration as a whole. It was the joint work of Paul Delouvrier and Maurice Lauré. It was not simply a matter of rationalizing the administration to adapt it to the new taxes of the 20th century. Politically, it survived the famous "Poujade" revolt.
